Gerardo is a bilingual (English and Spanish) Registered Psychotherapist who specializes in providing therapy to adults, teens, children, couples, and families.
With over 18 years of counseling experience in Canada and 5 years in Mexico, Gerardo has gained a wealth of knowledge in the field.
Gerardo holds a master's degree in psychotherapy and has obtained postgraduate certification in gestalt psychotherapy, as well as certificates in emotion-focused therapy, sex therapy, play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, brief and narrative therapy, and clinical hypnotherapy. Additionally, Gerardo is a practitioner of yoga and mindfulness.
In his practice, Gerardo utilizes positive psychotherapy to help individuals tap into their strengths and achieve a sense of balance. His deep understanding and appreciation for human nature allow him to approach counseling in an eclectic, open-minded, and non-judgmental manner.
